Muses of creation, Muses inspire ballads and icons.
Exalted bodies, sometimes constellations, sometimes rivers, occasionally mountains and rushes,
Inspirers, promoters, art-lovers and creators of the shadows.
Muses, many and one, forgotten Maid-of-all-work in history books.
Invisible presences but dreaded absences,
Mistresses of becoming, Goddesses of metamorphosis.
Muse Medusa, mortal face of a woman
Whose beauty has been by turns jealous, blamed, castigated and denied.
Under the aegis of Athena, here is Medusa the cursed, the disguised,
The hidden dreams woman but witch to the manly worries.
So attractive that we runned away from her, that we called her repulsion,
She was love at first sight, she will be terror.
Medusa snake charmer, her defending body petrifies.
The ignorant gaze of her real beauty, victim of his vanity,
becomes rock. The sharp gaze remembers Medusa,
creator of the wings of freedom and the golden sword.

EN - Muse Medusa is a brand of silk scarves, that wishes to be virtuous and aims to be a support to the feminist cause. The first collection of Muse Medusa lift the taboos surrounding the female body. It offers two different models, La Révolution Menstruelle (The Menstrual Uprising) and A corps et à poils (With Body and with Hair), both are accompanied with poems. Through an extensive graphic research, I tried to aestheticize the female intimacy without sexualizing or metaphorizing it.
FR - Muse Medusa est une marque de carré de soie, qui souhaite être vertueuse et choisi de soutenir la cause féministe. La première collection s'attache à soulever les tabous autour du corps de la femme. Elle se décline en deux carrés, La Révolution Menstruelle et A corps et à poils , accompagnés de poèmes. Par une recherche graphique approfondie, j'ai souhaité esthétiser l'intimité féminine sans la sexualiser ou la métaphoriser.
